San Buenaventura Friends of the Library will be discussing Margaret Maron’s Bootlegger’s Daughter.

This group meets monthly and reads a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles. The event is free and open to the public.

 New members are always welcome to join the discussion!

First Monday of each month, 4:00 p.m.

 Teens meet and talk about a book genre.

Book Club #1

The first book club created by members of SBFOL is still looking for new members.  Monthly meetings are held in members’ homes.  If you are an avid reader who enjoys sharing your reading experiences, please call Yvonne Seabold (805) 643-8204.


Friends of the Library book discussion

meets in the Topping Room on the first Saturday of the month from 10  am to noon

and is always open to new members!

This group reads a variety of fiction and non-fiction.  All are welcome.

When: First Saturday of the month, 10am-noon

Remember that it is a proposed list.  If you read something wonderful that you think will make a good read, please do bring your suggestions.  We have been known to change our reading list.

The Fun Book Group –

This group reads a variety of fiction and uses book club guides to help focus on the book. All are welcome.

Where: Unitarian Church of Ventura, 5654 Ralston Street, Ventura, CA 93003

When: third Sunday, at 11:30am, on the couches in the sanctuary.

For Serious Readers Book Group

This group reads a variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction.  We read from 50 to 70 pages a week and discuss what we read as we
progress through the chapters. Come and join us if you like to think, read and socialize.
